The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, October 5 reveals Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) will put Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) on the hot seat.
Also coming up, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will be suspicious. Plus, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will put the pressure on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Y&R spoilers tease Jack will tell Diane they’ve got Society to themselves. He’ll also say he’s hired someone to remarry them, in front of all their friends and family. Diane will ask if Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will stand beside him at their ceremony and he’ll say he hopes so. Diane will point out the two of them are making up for past hurts, so maybe they can do the same with Kyle.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Billy Has Done Questionable Things
“Are we talking about healing his heart or are we talking about giving him back his old job?” Jack will ask. Diane will reply that they can’t heal his heart. “I can’t just cut Billy loose to put Kyle in his place,” Jack will tell her. He’ll add it would be a big mistake to fire him just for personal reasons. “Is it really just personal?” Diane will reply. “Billy has done some questionable things that have compromised the integrity of Jabot and the family as a whole.” Jack will admit his brother has made mistakes in the past. “But in the here and now, he is not to blame.”
Meanwhile, Mamie will tell Jill she wants to make up for lost time with her family. “This is such a crock,” she’ll reply. “There’s something else going on underneath all this and I want to know what the hell it is.” However, Mamie will tell Jill she’s making something out of nothing. “I miss being a regular part of your lives,” Mamie will say to her family.
But Jill will tell her she knows who she really is, which is why she doubts her motives. “I think that John, Mrs. Chancellor and your son Billy would want us to have peace,” Mamie will reply. However, Jill will demand that she tells them the truth. “Why did you take over Victor’s shares in Chancellor Winters?” She’ll accuse Mamie of trying to piss her off. “How much is it gonna take to buy you out?”
Mamie will tell her there’s no amount of money she would accept. Then she’ll say she doesn’t want to talk business, she wants to celebrate family. Later, Jill will ask Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) what they think. Devon will say he wonders what’s going on too and why Mamie has been so secretive. “Jill can you please try?” Lily will ask. “Let’s just welcome her.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Mamie’s Evening Was Perfect
Over at another table, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will get up to take a call. And Mamie will tell Nate she sees he has more than just a working relationship with his boss. Nate will ask her to stop, after all, he’s a grown man. Nonetheless, she’ll continue and ask what happened between he and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpi). “I got really good vibes from that young lady.” Nate will say it didn’t work out.
“Was Victoria the reason you and Elena parted ways?” she’ll ask. But Nate won’t impart any information to his aunt. “How Victoria and I got involved is a story for another day,” he’ll say. Then he’ll tell her he’s happy she’s back with her family, but he’ll ask her not to pry into their personal lives or cast judgement. “Do you think you can stop yourself from crossing that boundary?”
Later, Jill will approach Mamie and will tell her she’s come a long way. “You’ve managed to pull this whole thing off without any of us seeing it coming and that takes some real smarts.” And she’ll ask what it is she ultimately wants. “Never show your hand Jill, until it’s time,” Mamie will reply.
Finally, she’ll return to her suite and pour herself a glass of champagne. Then she’ll get a phone call. “They don’t have a clue,” Mamie will tell the person on the other end of the line. “But they’re all as curious as hell. It just went perfect.”
